The Buxton Inn, Granville, Ohio, built in 1812. It was the first post office, & the coaching stop. Presidents Lincoln, McKinley and Harrison all stayed here, as well as Harriet Beecher Stowe, John Phillip Sousa, and Henry Ford all stayed here. Room 9 is said to be haunted, but I spent a perfectly peaceful night here.
Granville is a village in Licking County, Ohio, United States, founded by settlers from Granville, Massachusetts and Granby, Connecticut. It now has three times the population of its namesake. The population was 5,646 at the 2010 census.
