Biloxi is a very poor town in a very poor state. It is right on the Gulf of Mexico, and is surrounded by much more affluent communities. It is a vacation destination with many casinos and of course miles and miles of beautiful sand beaches. There were lots of interesting museums, a convention center, a historic district, and of course, Back Bay Mission.
