Step 2 on my Great Train Adventure is Chicgo – we spent the morning on the University of Chicago campus and visiting the Oriental Museum. Last visit to the Oriental Museum was about 37 years ago – Scott found a game still being sold that I had bought him back then – URZ – he says he still has it! Loved spending museum time with my son.
And Chicago is the first big city I ever knew – so many visits over so many years – it is still my favorite big city – my first love. It was fun sharing our favorites places with my friend Lyn, here to join me on the train.
