Such a nice historic home, dating from the 1890’s, with all its woodwork and parquet flooring still intact. There were once 7 such beautiful homes, dating back into the early 1800’s on this street in downtown Lima, but now only 2 remain. All the rest were torn down in the 1950’s and early 1960’s, in those days before we began to realize how important it is to preserve our heritage.
